London Collections: Men – Spring Summer 2014

I’m wishing myself to London in June for a wonderful four days of menswear and events surrounding the launch of the Spring Summer 2014 collections. Saturday 15th June to Tuesday 18th June is when London Collections: Men is scheduled to take place and what a wonderful line up of designers and events. I don’t even know where I want to start with what I want to see but I will try! Let’s start with the presentation from Hardy Amies on the Sunday. What I love about Hardy Amies is not just the luxurious British look but also the way it translates perfectly to the men in Australia. Someone who has demonstrated this so well is Caz Little of Dashing Hounds in Melbourne who has been styling some prominent men in Hardy Amies.

I can’t wait to see what the bespoke tailors of Savile Row & the gentleman’s house of St James and Mayfair present at their event. Tom Ford on Tuesday is a given and being one of my favourite designers and inspiration for all things design it would be a must see. I’m sure his Spring Summer 2014 collection will be one of the most anticipated of the season. And of course I just love Burberry Prorsum, Paul Smith, Ralph Lauren, Hackett London, Spencer Hart … and the list goes on!

With my schedule being so busy in June and making a trip to London unlikely I’m sure the Internet will provide me with the latest looks in super fast time! Thank goodness for the Internet! Although a busy schedule can always be reworked to fit in something like London Collections: Men.
