I have become a big fan of London Collections: Men over this past year, finding myself eagerly awaiting the release of the schedule for the Autumn Winter 2014 collections which is showing January 6-8, 2014. The program has been published for some time now and I’ve looked over it so many times, making my list of what I want to see, and of course, looking back at what was shown this current and past seasons. I always go through and choose my Top 5 I want to see, not always an easy thing to do with so much talent! Some of my favourite designers are showing and I know it’s going to be a few days where I’ll have my eyes locked to the Internet to see what is being shown. I’ll have to wait until the mid year collections before I can be there in person, something I am anticipating to be a busy time for The Man Has Style, along with a whole lot of inspiration!
The British Fashion Council really keep the excitement going with this menswear dedicated event and the designers showing have taken hold to make it even more special. Here are some highlights from the Spring Summer 2014 London Collections: Men.

Hardy Amies / Monday, 06 January, 2014 / 12:30 – 14:30
Gieves & Hawkes / Monday, 06 January, 2014 / 18:00 – 20:00
Hackett London / Tuesday, 07 January, 2014 / 14:00
Tom Ford / Wednesday, 08 January, 2014 / 10:00 – 17:00
Burberry Prorsum / Wednesday, 08 January, 2014 / 14:00
So, my top 5 designers collections I want to see is done! Although, I must add, one other show I am looking forward to that showcases a collaboration of designers is the Savile Row, Woolmark & St James’s event on the Tuesday evening. For Spring Summer 2013, ‘The English Gentlemen’ took to Lord’s Cricket Ground for a presentation of over one hundred different looks on both models and other men, superbly dressed by some of the best from Mayfair, St James’s and Savile Row’s most famous tailors. An amazing accomplishment that looked spectacular, styled by Jo Levin, Creative Fashion Director of British GQ and presented by Anda Rowland of Anderson & Sheppard and Sammy Aki.
