I’m still getting my head around the fact that Brad Pitt has just celebrated his 50th birthday. I always thought he was only a few years older than me. Not sure why I thought this as he’s over ten years older, however, it was still my thought! It made me look back at what he has accomplished and I wanted to share some of my favourite images of him. I particularly love the Mario Testino shoot where he is wearing the thick framed glasses for V Magazine 2007.
The shoot with Mario Sorrenti, styled by Edward Enninful, with Brad wearing a Burberry Prorsum jacket and trousers, Tom Ford shirt, bow tie and cummerbund, looking effortlessly stylish is another favourite.
Looking back even further, I loved him in A River Runs Through It, which also could be to do with my fascination with fly-fishing ! I do love the look of all the fly-fishing gear and the quality of everything used, often handed down through generations. A labour of love and patience.
How can one forget that shoot for Interview Magazine? Photographed by Steven Klein and styled by Ludivine Poiblanc, it showed Brad in so many ways. I favoured the one of Brad with a Tom Ford robe and bow tie, a shirt by Giorgio Armani, pin by Doyle and Doyle, a Cartier watch and David Yurman ring, it sure is a wonderful image.
And of course, Oceans Eleven… one cannot forget Oceans Eleven and the follow-up films, he did dress well in those. There are so many films Mr Brad Pitt has been exceptional in and I’m sure there will be many more!
