I do like clean lines and simplicity in a house alongside lots of open space and natural light mixed in with beautiful furnishings.  Gordon Guillaumier shows us Casa Eloro from back in 2008, Noto, Sicily in these images.  I love the cold feel of the stone mixed in with the warmth of the timber.  The simple cactus garden leading up the stairs and a scattering of beautiful furnishings, enough to relax, take time out and admire the view, read a book or simply do nothing.   What a lovely thought!
