De Fursac Autumn Winter 2014/15
Every season I wait in anticipation for the release of the De Fursac campaign images. Each time I am thoroughly delighted and struggle to choose my favourite photos along with loving so much of the collection that I don’t know where to start with picking my favourite pieces. Of course, there is also the campaign video which I watch over and over. The art direction from Franck Durand is always exceptional. So when the Autumn Winter 2014/15 campaign came across my desk I dropped everything and went into the world of De Fursac.
Sahores, Sadli & Durand Provide a Winning Combination
Model Adrien Sahores features as the mysterious man, inspired by the chic silhouettes of 1960s spies in Her Majesty’s Secret Service in London. Photographer Kalim Sadli once again works his magic to capture the moments, using light as his friend to create that mystery. Durand, Sahores and Sadli have worked in collaboration on past campaigns at De Fursac and the combination is a winning one that’s for sure. The campaign video, “Looking for Mrs. Cat”, is simply wonderful. Directed by Sébastien Haddouk, the use of shadows combined with the music by Tympanistan, makes me feel like I’m watching a Hitchcock film, combined with an air of cheekiness. The final scene of the cat makes me smile every time. The suits and other garments in the collection are highly desirable and fill my need to see (and feel) a mix of textures and fabrics. What can I say? I just love the De Fursac Autumn Winter 2014/15 collection and everything that is there to show us its beauty.
